Attercliffe

A study in horizontal lines and raw textures. For this project, we wanted to strike a hard contrast between sharp modern geometry and heavy, natural materials. Thick dry-stack stone walls carry the weight of deep cantilevered overhangs, while vertical timber screens soften the extensive glass facades. At night, the house transforms—layered lighting highlights the stepped terraces, the pool courtyard, and a custom backlit wall feature, making the outdoor spaces usable long after the sun goes down.
